Unions: A Blind Spot in Business Education with Faiz Shakir
Event Details:
A fireside chat with Faiz Shakir, the first Muslim campaign manager for a major presidential candidate and the executive director of More Perfect Union, a nonprofit news media organization. Shakir provided some insights based on his experiences on the front lines of policy-making and discussed how corporate leaders can constructively work with union leaders to achieve just outcomes. He helped fill a blind spot in business education, challenging each of us to question everything we’ve heard about labor unions.
